Pacha’s Pajamas is a hip-hop storytelling sensation, aiming to support a youth movement for Nature’s Rights.

More About Dave Room and Aaron Ableman

Dave Room and Aaron Ableman co-founded BALANCE Edutainment to develop entertaining products for youth and families that raise consciousness about our interdependence with nature, and connect people who want to work together for positive change.

Prior to BALANCE Edutainment, Dave also co-founded Bay Localize, a for-impact organization that inspires and supports Bay Area residents in building equitable, resilient communities.

Dave’s most important identifier is Melia’s Papa. On stage, Melia’s Papa uses storytelling and solo performance theater to awaken and activate mainstream audiences, people of color and youth.

Aaron grew up under the mentorship of Hopi elders and children's musician Raffi, and he has graced the stages with K'NAAN and Joan Baez, among others. From India to Haiti, he has implemented eco-arts programs and worked with at-risk teens.

The evening will begin with an introduction to The Pachamama Alliance at 6:30pm, followed by dinner (no host) and our speaker’s presentation at 8pm, and conclude by 9:15pm. Venue: Pena Pachamama Restaurant, North Beach, San Francisco.
